I took pictures of this past cooking weekend! It was a DOOSEY!
As a general idea of how it works, here's a rough outline:
pick out meals that I want to freeze
determine what groceries I need for each meal and put into a spreadsheet
grocery shopping
cooking
cleaning up
I'll do a separate post on the specifics but here are some pictures:
Phil helped cook this time, which was really fun and helpful for me!
We always, ALWAYS have Grammy come to take care of the kids during a cooking day - it would be IMPOSSIBLE otherwise!!! (THANK YOU, GRAMMY!!!!)
The next day, I did the kids lunches for this first week of school. Each Sunday we'll get the lunches in the fridge.
