Z - zoo

This week, Phoebe is studying Noah's ark and Z for zoo in Kindergarten.  She is also learning the sight word 'and' as well as learning to identify vowel sounds in the middle of words.  She's doing great with all of it and her math and other subjects.  She is working on a 300 piece puzzle with Mommy and Daddy, too.

Here are the rainbow cookies we made today.  (We made the colored sugar earlier this week.)  We used Gigi's sugar cookie recipe.  And if Gigi was still living on this earth, we'd take her a plate of cookies and share with her.  It was nice for me to get out her recipe and think about her, although I am sad not to be able to call her and tell her about the cookies and then go visit her with the kids so she can taste them with us.
